Ansah a captain in his first NFL playoff game

It will be exciting to see how Ziggy Ansah performs in his first NFL playoff game today vs. the Cowboys. (Of course, it’s KVN’s as well.) Ansah was named a team captain for the game, a huge honor for him in his second year.

Lions writer Tim Twentyman named Ziggy was one his players to watch in the game vs. Dallas: “Ansah has been quiet in his last few games and is due for a good game.” Here’s more info from the Lions angle: http://www.detroitlions.com/news/lions-insider/article-1/Lions-at-Cowboys-preview/bfd50456-d92c-4633-ad3f-dde201550a66

sucks that they lost. The D played good enough to win the game and advance. It is too bac that Ziggy and Van Noy have to play with such a low life as Suh.

Ansah had a solid game. He was in the backfield making a lot of plays, his four QB hurries were evidence of that. He’s got a solid career ahead of him, I’m guessing a Pro Bowl season in the next couple years if he continues to progress at his current rate.

I was really hoping to see KVN and Ziggy get another shot at Green Bay.
