As good as Collinsworth has been with filling the stat sheet I still don’t know if he is a solid NBA player without a proven ability to make a mid-range jumpshot and especially a 3 pointer. He has proven that his shot has improved in the offseason by improving his free throw percentage, but his shot does not look natural or comfortable.
Jason Kidd comes to mind
Good point. He was a terrible shooter early in his career. He became better over time, but was probably not much better than Collinsworth early.
