If you havenāt already, read āThe System-The Glory and Scandal of Big-Time College Footballā by Jeff Benedict and Arman Keteyian. Benedict was (may still be) a long time writer for Sports Illustrated (and is also LDS). Keyeyian is (or was) a long time Yahoo Sports writer. The book is absolutely fascinating and is an easy read. It will mostly confirm what you already thinkāand if you think college football is rotten to the core and has been for some time, this book will confirm you are right in your thinking. This book made me like Nick Sabanāheās pretty old school in a good way. Harbaugh is cut from that same cloth.
