Bend don’t break defense. Offense needs to wake up. Nap time is over!
Defense! Then Offense!
Nobody commented…
Ya, then they all realized how wrong they were about their pregame predictions. So, they didn’t dare comment making themselves look stupid. Glad you noticed.
Interesting narrative
Fish has some good commented but the others like Thawk haven’t been seen yet. Tails between their legs.
I am surprised by the ability to put 38 points on KSU. I am not nearly as surprised by the BYU defense. But I am not willing to give this offense much credit until we see if KState is actually a good team. I seem to remember a win against Baylor that everyone was all excited about and it turned out that Baylor was way overrated and we never really duplicated that success again on the way to 5 wins. With Oklahoma and Texas gone our league schedule will be easier than last year and therefore a bowl game is easier to achieve.
SMU and Wyoming may not finish with many wins. KSU may start picking off good teams the rest of the season but they certainly don’t meet the eye test of a 13th ranked team. They have no passing game and their Lamar Jackson has very little supporting staff. I wouldn’t be shocked to see them lose 4-5 games this year.
See, just what I said, Jim. Thawk doesn’t want to give K-ST any credit. BYU does great against #13 and he’s just like the announcers, annoying. No Talk, BYU played great as a team and did what they were supposed to do. The offense took the cue from the defense and put up 24 points, 3TDs and a FG. You looked like a fool with your pregame analysis.
Yeah… this may be a little short sighted on your part. I agree to some extent but SMU (3-1) just dropped 66 on TCU and got their head coach ejected. TCU may not be at their best this season, so far, but they are a quality program that is well coached.
Texas is at the peak of their game right now but Oklahoma barely beat Houston so it isn’t that big a deal. Don’t underestimate KSU, they might not recover from the BYU debacle but that was a hostile environment and they were playing well until the wheels fell off at the end of the first half.
Try not to be too sour grapes thawk, BYU is 4-0 and I guarantee nobody here imagined that happening.
