Timely Article this morning

Someone please tell me this article wasn’t meant to be written right now…

https://latterdaysaintmag.com/discerning-true-from-false-conspiracy/

Watch, listen and discern… pay attention to what is going on around you.

This is all I have been trying to point out. We will see who is open minded and watching the subtle promptings and events that are taking place. Actually, they aren’t so subtle anymore in my opinion. They are occurring with more frequency and intensity.

Also, please don’t characterize my comments as over the top, everyone is in on it, it’s a massive conspiracy because they are not and there is not. There is only one master conspirator and he works as hard as he can to gain the real power and control over those who would do his bidding.

Read what this article is saying and you will understand better where I am coming from.

D&C 38:30 If ye are prepared ye shall not fear.

We have many avenues to help us discern truth or lies. As members of the Church we look to our Prophets and scriptures for guidance. But, in our country we are a small percentage that do this. What does our secular society look for? One that I see that religious and non-religious look for is the Bill of Rights and the document that led us to forming this country so the Gospel could be restored along with the Lord’s Church, the Declaration of Independence. Specifically, the first amendment and the “life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.” These are Rights for individuals. Groups are formed but each individual has certain unalienable rights given by God. Anything supported that takes away these rights has to be looked at with seriously evil.

Recently, we have seen freedom to speak attacked by limiting words that can be spoken. We demonize those we disagree with as racists, homophobic and so on. We can’t say “illegal alien” because we must be racist. Never mind the fact that if undocumented people are paying taxes they most likely have stolen social security numbers.

If we object to man-made climate change we are racist, homophobic, Christian, greedy capitalists and so on. We forget that the same people who push this are the same people advocating for population control in the 60’s and 70’s. The same people that limit God’s children from coming to the earth to receive their bodies. And we see many of our Church brothers and sisters follow those who pursue this and say, “we should give them their right to push for these evil things” and don’t object to them or we will get you!

This virus, if allowed, will devour free speech, slow births of children, free speech, free exercise of our religious beliefs and destroy individuals from pursuing happiness. I hear many now saying the new norm will be facial coverings. Like women in Islam. Perhaps new laws will be written by governments forcing us to wear face masks or burkas. (Just a thought)

Regardless of your perceptions and opinions, we are being herded and manipulated by some high political figures in various states. Is this a test run for what is coming if those who seek full control over the hearts and minds of men gain power to destroy the Constitution and our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Is it safe or fair to say that how important a comment or post is, can be based on the number of replies to it? I think there is a connection so I will leave it at that. It has been 2 days and virtually no response.

I want to add that what you see taking place in Minneapolis is just the tip of the iceberg for what is possible going forward. As society drifts farther away from Heavenly Father and the teachings of Jesus Christ this is what we will see taking place. If there is no accountability for our actions and choices we are in trouble. Those who started this whole plandemic probably had no idea how far it could go and how devastating it could be.

There is opportunity for change but I am skeptical as to what will happen. I don’t see accountability changing in the future. Everyone wants justice but without accepting accountability (the officer had numerous complaints of violence and bad treatment against him) all they will get is vengeance and no change. There is little to no accountability in the public sector as wrong doing is rewarded with severance packages and new jobs elsewhere.

Accountability and responsibility for one’s actions…

On this one there might be. I heard a report that the two knew each other from a security job at a nightclub a while back. There may have been altercations from that time. This may be premeditated.

What bothers me too is there were people other than cops that were watching this. How about someone knocking the officer off the man? I would of.

It wouldn’t surprise me once again. As I was watching what took place all I could think is that it was an act of retribution and completely out of line/inexcusable. You are right, but why didn’t a fellow offiicer say “hey man, you need to back off right now” and knock him off. There were 3 others there. Probably some issues with corruption too, which is a result of no accountability.

grasshopper: “How about someone knocking the officer off the man? I would of.” That’s what I thought when I saw the video. I would have and then gotten beat up and been jailed but that would have been ok. One of the main reasons I moved from the south was to get away from that kind of crappola.

Apparently there is a statute in Minneapolis that doesn’t allow for other officers to intervene. Dumb. Even just as dumb is BLM and Anti-fa rioting and setting fires.

So if you think there is a good chance your fellow officer is going to do some hard time because of his actions and you think there is a possibility that his actions might lead to someone’s death you aren’t allowed to say/suggest to him that he backs off before something bad happens?

That is nonsense but then again so is a lot of what goes on in the world today. It’s what happens when a society becomes Godless.

Maybe be nonsense but it is what it is. Bad directions from 70 years of Democrat Rule. Yet, the media and their politicians continue to bash Trump and Republicans not in control of their regulations.

I keep wondering if someone is going to post something about the current event(s) taking place that aren’t specifically corona virus subject. I’m not sure how many people will read this but I am curious what the perspective of people is regarding the fallout of the Floyd George killing.

There are some significant protests and rioting/looting going on in a number of cities around our country.

There have been 2 autopsies for the same person that ended with vastly different analysis and results. So whom are we to believe? This is the point I was trying to make about science and research… that everyone has an agenda or end that they want to justify the means they use to go about obtaining that end. Regardless, I was appalled at the images of what happened and disgusted with the actions of the police officer in Minnesota. His actions were despicable. There is no pure truth left out there… except that which we hear from the prophet of God or what we can read in the scriptures. The following feels like truth to me.

Helaman 12:2-3

“Yea, and we may see at the very time when he doth prosper his people, yea, in the increase in their fields, their flocks and their herds, and in gold, and in silver, and in all manner of precious things of every kind and art; sparing their lives, and delivering them out of the hands of their enemies; softening the hearts of their enemies that they should not declare wars against them; yea, and in fine, doing all things for the welfare and happiness of his people; yea, then is the time that they do harden their hearts, and do forget the Lord their God, and do trample under their feet the Holy One - yea, and this because of their ease, and exceedingly great prosperity.

“And this we see that except the Lord doth chasten his people with many afflictions, yea, except he doth visit them with death and with terror, and with famine and with all manner of pestilence, they will not remember him.”

Any parallels we can draw with the time ans season we are experiencing currently?

Personally, I think people tend to overthink things and believe things that fit their perspective views.

What happened to George Floyd was not right, and was a failure of Minnesota Police administration holding their officers accountable. that cop seen kneeling on the neck of Mr. Floyd had at least 19 complaints against him prior to this incident. I am not anti cop, I am actually pro cop… Talking to my daughter yesterday, I discussed that there is a difference between a cop making a mistake and being a bad cop.

A cop who makes a mistake like kneeling on the neck of an arrestee as Mr. Floyd, because of maybe something going on at the time that distracted him,is what I term a cop making a mistake. Even though it was a mistake, he should still be held accountable and not allowed to remain on the force because of his lack of judgement, but maybe not prosecuted because of circumstances.

While I believe the cop in question is a bad cop, because he had been on the force for 19 years and should have known better… That cop should be prosecuted for his crime.

Sorry, but I do not look at the world events and believe as you that there is “No truth” left out there outside of the prophet. When I see cops hugging protesters and supporting their right to protest an unjust act, gives me hope that maybe we can work together to resolve our issues. When I see protesters protecting a lone cop who got separated from his group, that gives me hope.

I believe the majority of the protesters are good honest people who want change, but unfortunately, there is an criminal element in our society that uses a just cause to create mahem, violence and destruction. Which actually is counter productive of the protest.

Truth will always stand, even in dark days. You need to find it sometimes, but it never leaves. I believe as President Nelson that their is much good and honor in our world. unfortunately, evil voice is louder than at any time previous, that is why it so important for us to raise our own voices.

I refuse to believe that we as individual cannot affect change, because it has been proven for hundreds of years that one person can make a difference by simply “raising their voice” to counter the negative out there.

Just imaged what our world would look like if Martin Luther King Jr. did not “Raise his voice”?

The comment about “truth” was only applicable to the specific situation I was speaking of with regard to the autopsy. One person said it was one thing and another person said it was something different. What made it difficult to discern is that the govt. autopsy said it wasn’t because of asphyxiation and the private autopsy said it was.

Whom do we believe?

It certainly looked like asphyxiation but I am no expert.

All I was saying Floyd is whom do you believe and whom can you trust? That was the whole point of linking the article that I did at the beginning of this thread. We have to do our best to discern truth from lies.

Sorry you misunderstood the purpose of my comment.

The medical examiner is looking at a third of Floyd’s heart looking for heart disease as a contributing factor. Does it matter if he had a bad heart? No. He died and the fact he stayed on his neck for over 2 minutes after one officer said he had no pulse says it all. It was premeditated.

I tend to lean towards President Trump’s solution to show no mercy to the violent destructive Gadianton Robbers. Bring in the military and kill as many as possible and chase the rest into the hills to hide. That’s the way the people handled the Gadianton Robbers.

Floyd’s family is speaking out against the violence and looting. The problem the media, including Fox, spend and show little snippets of their statements. The media again fueling this.

Time for media to be held accountable for this stuff. Now they are rioting in France… I wonder why that is happening? It might just be because they have watched the nonsense on TV and the internet? No, that’s exactly why.

CNN is the absolute worst source of information there is. I have been watching a little of all of it, CNN, MSNBC and FOX and they are all stupid… and feel no sense of responsibility or accountability for what they show or depict as “newsworthy”.

It’s frustrating. The family and girlfriend of Mr. Floyd are speaking out against violence. That is only briefly mentioned or shown.
Then, the commentators keep saying most are peaceful. The problem is the thugs hide in the protest and then are told to go to streets that aren’t being policed via Twitter.

The media, including Fox News, are looking for ratings (money) and will do whatever it takes (some will go to greater lengths) to get viewers. That they focus on drama, or even the potential for drama, captures the imagination of criminals / thugs and thuggery begins. All criminals / thugs want is even the hint of an excuse to commit thuggery.

Here in Salt Lake last night (Monday) the protest was peaceful with some few, minor exceptions. The problem is that the mayor (who is calling the shots, at least locally) allowed the protesters to go way beyond her stated curfew of 8:00 p.m. Then, at the capitol, the protestors, were given 15 minutes to disperse but the 15 minutes went past and nothing from the police except walking towards the protesters after close to half an hour. Then, after a bit of a standoff, the cops followed the protestors for several blocks until the protesters finally began to get into their cars. Who was in charge last night, I say the protesters because they decided when to disband, they decided when the curfew was literally in effect. That emboldens the protesters but more importantly emboldens the criminals / thugs and thus emboldens chaos. Chaos is the tool that the leftist socialists desire to use to tear the USA down. And unfortunately, there are many leftist socialists governors and mayors (including the Salt Lake mayor) who allow and even encourage the chaos in our streets. And then the “glory” that is depicted on TV is all the motivation for thugs to do thuggery, even in other countries / continents. The USA is devolving more and more into a third world country, ruled by socialists and communists. Oh, I know, I am way too negative and diety would never let that happen. Just tell that to 6 million Jews and the 50 million that Stalin murdered or the scores of millions murdered by many other dictators.

BTW, medial personnel, including medical examiners, provide their OPINIONS, not the truth.

I wonder sometimes if members really understand what life will be like just prior to the coming of the Lord? They think life will be peaceful? Not according to prophecy. It will get really bad because America won’t be able to defend Israel as the armies from the north will come upon Israel.

Don’t expect things in the world to work out-just do your best to be a good person and you’ll leave this world a little better off

I think it’s all just really sad. And as JCoug pointed out, Helaman 12:2-3 sure does seem to be unfolding before our very eyes.

I’m so confused at the logic of the left when it comes to human life. It’s just all over the place and is used to fit their agenda. The recent death of George Underwood in Oakland received barely a blip on the media radar. I have heard no outrage from the left or a desire of accountability for the protesters that killed him.

I’m also frustrated at the Media. The coverage has been despicable.
