Please -no more one year portal qbs. Work within your recruitments and at least have a qb with 2 years of eligibility left. It takes at least a year for quarterbacks to fit into the BYU system. I believe Slovis would have done better if he had an extra year. There was no comparison between Wilson and Hall, who started in the system, compared to either Slovis or Retzlaff. I haven’t seen Ryder Burton, but hopefully he is learning the system and perhaps lead BYU in the future.
