and just like that, Assad is out after 50 yrs of rule. To be clear, his allays were Russia and Iran, so this is a good thing for both USA and Israel.
Now, change in Iran is next.
Not sure 13 years of civil war would be considered fast. but glad the dude is out and maybe bring stability back to the area.
but if we learned anything from Iraq, deposing a evil leader leads to a vacuum that needs to be filled before other forces take over.
Muslims will use the vacuum to try and install another Taliban scenario.
or Isis, or Brotherhood, etc.
That is my real worry with Assad being booted, that something worse will take over.
