1 I thought BYU gave Utah a big ol shiny apple on Defense in the 1st half…We all knew they could not throw so what did we do??? Allowed Utah to run the ball, get momentum, then their QB, Rose got some confidence and started throwing the ball, making some great throws.
2 Focusing on the run and stuffing Bernard would of forced Utah to throw the ball…BYU intercepted Rose, We should of forced them to throw more. Remember how BYU forced KSt to throw by stuffing their run game, we got to their young QB, Johnson by intercepting him, he was a mess after that…that is what BYU should of done at the start of the game.
3 Kelly and Glasker are so fast, they should both be in the NFL draft, just sayin
4 Obvious…BYU was playing very nervous. One thing I have noticed about Retzaiff, when he gets out of his comfort zone, he quits thinking and resorts to forcing things or putting the head down and running. It was GREAT to see him buckle down in the 2nd half and go about beating the UTES. The last possession is a thing of legend.
5 Marion’s run back was Electric. We would have to go back decades for a repeat, was it DYE?
6 Where would we be without Lassiter and Roberts. Clutch
7 I will never understand how we let the other team’s stars get open??? Kuithe got 2 TDs, make someone else take the shots, not the stars Dah. Bernard and Kuithe, that is IT!
8 I said it before, BYU was a terrible clock manager at the end of both halves. Cost BYU 3 points in the 1st and almost cost us the game at the end.
