I would say, yes and no. nothing to stop other teams to inflate their NET numbers just as big 12 teams have. BYU is most likely this biggest offender.
Having said, that. The Big 12 has the pedigree to prove they belong at the top and now we are 3 games from the Big 12 tournament, Kansas city.
obviously, Kansas has a big home advantage here but they are not healthy so how would I rank them today, going in to post season play?
1 Houston and easy last 3 games, they should be the 1st seed. 12-3
2 ISU should also win out. 10-4
3 Baylor, they have 3 tougher games that they should win, 9-6
4 Kansas, I think they lose @Baylor and @ Houston??? 9-6
5 BYU will lose @ ISU, 8-7
6 TTU lost badly at home to Texas (thank you TX) 8-7
7 TCU has to play @BYU. The seeding is on the line come Saturday. 8-7
8 Ok is going to fall with 3 likely losses (@ ISU, @Houston and @ TX. 7-7
9 Tx is surging with that TTU win. They will only lose Baylor, 7-8
10 K St may lose all 3 of its last, 7-8
11 UCF " lose all 4, 5-9
12 Cinn. will rise a few spots, favored in 2-3, 5-10
13 O St. should also win 2-3, 4-10
14 W Vir at the bottom. 4-11
