1-3 are pretty much decided with Houston, ISU and Baylor beating KU. Don’t look now but KU is now TIED with BYU along with TTU in the 4th spot. 9-7. Tx surging hard, tied with TCU @ 8-8. I hope everyone appreciates that POPE and BYU have done to date!
So let’s look at the middle pack teams and seeding probabilities from strongest to weakest:
Baylor 10-6, @ Tx and -0.3TTU. This could be dicey for Baylor, both Tx and TTU very hungry 11-7
TTU 9-7, -1.5@OSU , +0.3 Baylor . Finish with 1 loss. 10-8
KU 9-7, -11 KSU, +10.3 @Houston. 10-8
BYU 9-7, +7.7 @ISU, -12.8 OSU. 10-8 .
If BYU, TTU and Kansas win out, BYU gets the tie breaker over KU but TTU gets the 3rd seed. (they beat both KU and BYU). If TTU losses to Baylor and BYU wins out, BYU is the 4th seed. If all 3 teams loss one, BYU #5 seed.
TCU 8-8. -5.0 @WVU, -7.0 UCF, 10-8
TX 8-8. +5.7 @ Baylor, -5.8 OU. 9-8
All these team sit between a 3 and 8 seed in the Big 12 with 2 games to play.
