I expect the Cougs to win in a blowout tonight. It is Thursday after all and Portland barely won on their own floor.
They don’t need the win for the record or for the NIT. They need the win to build confidence.
With blue goggle firmly in place, I think a reasonable goal for the Cougs at this point is an 11 game win streak…Seljaas is back, Emery is back, Kaufusi is playing better than he did last year at the end, They’ve got the talent they had at the start and it looks like the pieces are finally falling into place. Time to set the stage for next year.
SMC has no seniors this year. Simply scary…for next.
