We cannot control external forces. Utards running from a great rivalry, the Big 12 not needing 12 teams (thus the little 12?), P5 Conferences not inviting, the amount of solar energy the sun emits to the earth, etc. We just need to win, and win, and win. I have no problem winning with authority or allowing players to break records and make new ones. In fact I like it. Play strong, play tough, take no prisoners, seek the best opponents available and just win and things will be fine. Control what you can control and let the chips fall where they may. Worrying is like a rocking chair…lots of action, little forward progress.
I have been mopping in some ways but who cares what utards are doing with rivalries and what Little 12 (big12) trying to be money keeper.
I like our FB program are playing 6 p5 schools (or minus 1 utard) this year.
You wonder what might happen with big 12 sooner than what you think. What if other P4 start picking apart again on big 12 FB of Texas, OU & OSU? Will big 12 leftovers going to be like Big East when they went dead. Or will they go west to pick up BYU and some mwc schools? Time will tell and I am looking forward to future Independent FB and BYU mens basketball.
