Let me start out by saying that I really miss the “old” Cougarfan. So I ventured over to Cougarboard for a couple of reasons. 1) There is certainly a lot more activity, and thus more Cougar sports info flying around and 2) This board has been kind of anemic since the change over. My observations of Cougarboard: it seems kind of juvenile with the most important thing being clever in the shortest number of words possible. It is nameless, in that you don’t get to know anyone personally. On this site, I felt like we are all friends. Also, the discussions are meaningful with lots of words and insight.
Sooooo, my first week on Cougarboard, I got banned for one week for using the word “arse” describing a Utah player. I apologized, and was reinstated. Now I just received a 100 year ban for my screen name, CougraClutzClan. Man, I just can’t win!??
So are you coming onto this board to get some sympathy? I don’t know if you think your screen name is cute or clever but it’s not. Don’t be a klutz or you may find yourself banned from this board too.
I have looked at cougarboard a couple of times and there is just way too much going on for me. They can have 19 pages of posts over a period of one or two hours. I don’t want to spend all that time sorting through everything.
