I believe that LaVell coached in a different time than today. The NFL is looking for the most skilled and physically talented players in their draft. BYU, with its large number of returned missionaries is being over looked because of their stereo typing of these type of players. Also, Bronco’s teams of late, especially since indy, seems to have fallen off the NFL radar.
