I have read that the Longhorn Network is a major loser, cannot fill its programming slots, and goes in the hole something like $30million/year. Texas has no independent broadcasting capabilities (I think ESPN does it all for the network) so it shouldn’t seem so hard to convert that network to a conference product. I’m sure OU cares way more about that than who the 11th and 12th teams might be.
Do you have reading comprehension issues?
I said “I heard a guy on sports talk that covers the Big12 say” – I am relaying what someone media idiot said on 1280… I did not say that…
poor wording on my behalf…You wrote it so I addressed it…You should have said that, “Utah hates BYU”. That I would buy into.
Actually Fish… Utah has NOTHING to do with the comments… your “anti” is flaring up again…
It came from a USA Today Reporter who covers the big 12, Utah nor any of their fans made the comments…
Here is the problem Fish, you still think BYU is the team that Lavell Built in the early 80’s… They are NOT!
While Bronco has done a great job of bringing the Y back from the Obis of the Crowton years… He has done VERY LITTLE on the national level… He looses far more times to big named schools, than he wins (mostly because of Anae being OC, but Bronco WANTED him back).
I believe Kalani and Ty will bring the Y back to the national recognition that they once had because for the simple reason… TY has said he will fit the scheme of his system to the talents of the players (much like Scovil did during the McMahon and Young Era). He also said he is going with what is try and true and proven, not the latest fad of Offensive schemes… To me that make me want to jump up and Say “FANTASTIC!”
agreed, 100%.
you really need to read between the lines sometimes. Got it, Big 12 reporter, not you, we good?
