Football season over

I hear Nebraska is causing a stir in the Big 10/12/13 or whatever they are called, because they want to play.

Wouldn’t mind playing them…

Has there been anything from the Big 12 as to what they will allow?

The QB for Ohio State got 120,000 signatures this past weekend. There are plenty of rebellers out there

Playing Utah is a in State recruiting tool. Yes, I know of the current streak, but that is just that “a streak”, soon (I believe) the pendulum will swing the other way.

Utah produces some good talent, Alabama, several PAC-12/Big-12/SEC teams has come to Utah to recruit (especially the Polynesian players).

Would that be a kick… playing Ohio State?

Yes Troy isn’t a big program but we might have to take a few “Troy’s” of the world to get enough games to stay sharp!

Yeah, remember when we used to beat the Utes. The past is the past. Ten loses in a row. We are not as good as they are. Our coaching is much worse than the Utes. They have nine seasons of play in the PAC-12. BYU’s team can’t compete with the Utes any more.

We’ve been in most of those games. I agree with the coaching mistakes. To me, that has been the difference.

I want to point out another indicator here to help everyone see the big picture…

This whole thing has nothing to do with covid 19, it is all political. This is all based in an effort to bring down Trump and move toward a socialist, restrictive government and world dominance by the ruling class elites. Which schools do you think are driving the decisions? The USC and UCLA’s, the Washington’s, Stnafords and Cal’s. Wherever there are liberal dominated areas of the country generally those are the power mongers that are driving this. It is still being blown out of proportion by lies, lies and more lies. This has NOTHING to do with “safety” and everything to do with political power and fundamentally changing the world. Right now it means bringing down the U.S. and that means Trump… the first president since Reagan that really cares about humanity and the freedoms and liberties we have… for the time being, that are quickly disappearing.

Believe what you want. I’m just here pointing out reality for those who may not see it.

PS - I understand this is a football season thread but it is all tied together so I discuss all aspects of it.

I absolutely agree with you. When we look at the colleges that shut down football and were the driving force behind conferences shutting down, they are liberal leftist run colleges predominantly in blue states.

I saw yesterday Democrats trying to attack Trump for saying “suburban housewives.” Immediately, the Dems and the media said that was a racist statement because they said only whites live in the suburban areas. That’s not true but they don’t care. And, Romney continues to support Biden.

Romney is a ruling class elite who doesn’t really care about people. If he thinks otherwise, if he actually cares bout people then he needs to wake up and look around. Unfortunately I don’t think he can because… he is a ruling class elite.

They don’t have a clue how to help anyone but themselves.

A Rasmussen Poll says 30-40% of likely Black American voters are for Trump. That’s huge. And this is why the Democrats keep the race baiting going. They have to. I’d say the Hispanic vote is high for Trump too. And as long as the riots continue the Suburban housewives will be for Trump too. Most still want Law and order.

Agreed

Now to get back to football

Outside of Navy and Houston, BYU’s schedule is hardly one worth talking about

Looks like we’ve added Texas St. and Texas San Antonio. Both D1 schools. Hopefully we can get a couple of more really good teams.

Also, looks like the NCAA is going to give all fall sports teams an extra year of eligibility. Even if they play this year in football.

Haha… thanks for reeling me back in, I was getting my second wind and headed downstream fast!

Keep going! You can walk and chew gum at the same time, I think
