Interesting article on honor code violations in the Tribune. Might be worth your time to read it. I always thought it was a bit archaic, but I guess everyone has their own ideas

Like prison reform? Decriminalize marijuana? Just kind of a slap on the wrist and say don’t do it again? I think it’s great that Emery had to sit out a year and 9 games and successfully repent. Same with Davies. Davies came back and was great for the program and the Church. Emery may do the same. At least he has a chance and the Honor Code helped him.
