Good luck!
Let us know how it - especially physical therapy- as I should have it for both shoulders now but the horror stories of PT are allowing me all sorts of excuses
Like… got to be able to shovel some snow in the winter
Hey Floyd, one of the best therapies. I know I was getting a sleepy river at the rec center. Zero impact start with the current and when you feel stronger walk against the current.
I am “retired” from coaching baseball. We’re empty nesters now, and the time commitment isn’t worth it to me without kids at home playing. My son’s senior year, my arm (shoulder) was really hurting. I would sometimes throw 200+ BP pitches, and it actually took almost a year to stop hurting. I kept throwing after my last season, because my youngest was going to school and then a mission a year after that, and I figured I could gut it out and pitch to him and then retire. I was this close to having a consultation and rotator cuff surgery, but it turns out that my arm fully healed with a ton of rest (my son’s two freshman year semesters, with baseball when he was home in break). So, I never had to get surgery, but I sure thought I would, because it hurt badly even with months of rest.
I’m glad I didn’t have to go under the knife, and I hope you recover fully and have pain free full range of if motion, Floyd!
So, ignoring HIPPA, how did you manage injuring your rotator cuff? Was it back when you were umpiring baseball and you motioned you are out too aggressively? Hey, injuries are a part of being active. So, did you do it in the weight room?
