Many defensive players are out. What’s going on? A guy with a broken finger is out? What happened to the days when players play injured? Cast it up and get out there.
I don’t know, but it doesn’t seem to take much to have a player sit a game out. I think we may have had a couple guys out with hangnail injuries…
The number of season ending or multiple game injuries this year in sports seems really high. Add to that the extreme sensitivity to anything that remotely looks like a head injury/concussion and the inability of players to just simply play football without worrying about hitting someone the wrong way or tackling inappropriately and it is a recipe for more injuries than I can remember seeing in college and pro sports.
