Waiting to see how this one turns out. Santa Clara has a good record, but a suspect schedule. They do have the win against SMC, so I’m wondering if Gonzaga destroys them at home. It will give us a little better idea how BYU will fare with them on the road.
So, do you have an idea how we will do against GU? We have to play an almost perfect game.
- 7 turnovers max
- Make layups and short shots
- 90% FT
- 52% shooting
- 45% 3’s
- 18 or more assists
Better than SC-they are down almost 50. Tall, lean, don’t shoot that well, rather undisciplined. BYU will have to shoot well -over -50 percent both 2s and 3s-tight defense, low turnovers-and it will still be tough to stay close with the Zags. Just don’t match up well-but not many do
Pretty much agree. We will shoot lots of 3’s because we will get stuffed underneath. So, 45% from 3’s is the lowest we can go. And we have to get those 3’s on lots of assists.
Not a pretty game of Santa Clara.
Colby Lee was perfect on his shooting night against SD, 7-7 with 1-1 3’s. Yes, we can’t start slow or stall at all during the entire game to stay with the Zags.
