Some notables:
Taggart going to Cal
Justice Ena, OL, RS-Freshman
Carson Tujague, DT, RS-Freshman (Crozet, Virginia)
Landon Rehkow, P, RS-Sophomore (Veradale, Washington) to Utah State
Keelan Marion, WR/KR, Gr. (Atlanta, Georgia) to Miami Hinckley Ropati, RB, Gr. (Downey, Calif.)
Not sure what to think, but the Rehkow kid, I thought was the heir apparent from his older brother.
Ropati kind of surprised me, as well as Coach Ena kid Justice.
I know for Taggert it was to “get a scholarship”, because BYU never offered him one. NIL probably had something to do with it.
But my question is why do you always assume the worse in people reasons?
Maybe some of these kids want Playing Time, which they can’t get because they are buried in the depth chart.
Not to mention that the new NCAA rule of restricting to 105 Scholarships (Down from 121) for football, many of these kids are leaving because they were asked to look elsewhere.
Even Kalani has said that he hates that he recruited these players, now he has to say “goodbye” to them because of the NIL and NCAA mess!
