Two games in a row where we fell apart in the 2nd half. That was ugly. It was like we forgot how to move then all and shoot. What was up again with Saunders and his airballs?
I’m not sure why nobody is posting a thing. Not before the Cincy game and not a peep after.
The likely problem is that everyone is pretty meh about this team. Nothing worse than seeing a team that can play and does play hard with effort to win and then watch that same team completely give up and roll over.
The problem is that it all happened in the same game, two weeks in a row! The loss at home was against a good team in Arizona but the loss today was against a mediocre team in Cincinatti who had a 3-8 league record before blowing out BYU in the second half.
Honestly, it’s kind of embarrassing. BYU still plays, at times, like they have no idea what they are doing or even how to play a simple, basic game.

It’s like the air was completely sucked out of this forum after the last two games. It appeared BYU had turned the corner after winning four in a row, but the last two games have been abysmal in the second half. What was supposed to have been a good rebounding team has been hammered on the boards the last two games. They finally get turnovers under control and now they can’t rebound. I was actually thinking this year could end up better than last year based on depth and talent, but I was obviously wrong. Unless they turn it around they are an NIT team.
Demin has lottery pick talent but he isn’t performing close to the level of a lottery pick. You can see the talent in him and Catchings. Sometimes they are brilliant and other times they play like guys who are not Big 12 level players.
