Is this true about Demin and Trask?

Is this true Demin is coming back and we have another 5 start QB coming in?

Who knows…

There is this one floating around out there as well.

Demin is weighing a lucrative NIL offer to stay another year and play alongside potential 2026 No. 1 overall pick AJ Dybantsa.

With BYU landing Dybantsa, who is projected as the first overall pick in the 2026 draft, along with Demin and Saunders potentially returning for another season, BYU could become a powerhouse next season as they look to win the first championship in school history.

Well, I think that boat has sailed.

I’ll bet Hall decides to stay now. Maybe even Crawford unless they both signed somewhere else.

Well, just because he declares doesn’t mean he’s gone. He still could decide to come back, right? Others have. Will see. Let him try out with some of the others.
Maybe coach told him that we have another point guard commit coming and he doesn’t want his stock to go lower. Too bad.

In the press conference, coach Young said something that I thought I’d ask you because you actually were a longtime referee in many sports. Unlike the other scripted conspiracy guy. He said one difference between the NBA and College is that in the NBA, the players cannot put their hands on the offensive player. But in college the defender are allowed to. The question is, what is the college rule about this?

The rule or how officials apply it?

In the NBA hand checking as it is called is illegal.

In college ball they ca hand check or do the mid arm ceck, where the defensive player put i
fis forearm in the middle of the back of the offensive player. It helps the defense get leverage on the play.

So, hand checking is allowed in college. It would help to make that illegal too. I think that is one thing that makes some people think the refs aren’t calling fouls when it isn’t a foul in college.

I saw the Demin interview on sports nation.

I was impressed. He seems like a genuinely good person.

I wish him the best of luck and no Hopper, he isn’t coming back.

Never say never. But, I doubt it. Young has to focus on finding a point guard and another center. Two centers aren’t enough do to injuries. We have enough shooters and good defenders. I’m looking forward to see what Mbout does. I think he’s a sleeper off everyone’s radar. Also, I really don’t want Hall back. He did this last year. Crawford, I would take back.
