BYU still needs to win there for NCAA seeding.
It would also be nice to not have to face them in the conference tournament.
Ie I realized today that if we lost to them we would be the fifth seed and after winning one game would face the fourth seed. If BYU beat them and was the fourth seed then most likely face the fifth seed meaning the same Iowa State…I would rather face TT or Arizona than Iowa State.
Don’t know what KY and his staff would prefer, if they would even openly agree or state a preference.
If we win tomorrow, we both will be 11-6 and tied for 4th place. Which most never saw that a possibility 3 weeks ago. If we keep playing great, we could even get to 3rd place. Maybe 2nd if Arizona snoozes a bit.
