Buffalo was tough but for some reason, Josh Allen still makes some Retzlaff type blunders at critical points in the game. Maholmes mental game is just so much stronger.
On track to break History, but the high flying Eagles stand in the way.
Oh good grief! That was a great hard fought game. I don’t know what you are talking about. Allen’s pass while falling backwards with two Gus on him was amazing and should have been caught to keep the game going and possibly take the lead. That stop on Allan was amazing too and accurately spotted as well. His head was on the line but not the ball.
If you can’t enjoy that game you probably should give up watching pro ball. The Super Bowl will be with the two best teams this year. I’m going for the three-peat but Philadelphia has a better offense and good defense.
The KC game was a great game! The Super Bowl has the two best teams in my opinion. Allen’s pass at the end should have been caught. How he got that to him was outstanding. I really don’t see Retzlaff in him at the high level of play. KC defense is just plain good. That stuff with 4th and 6 inches was ridiculous.
The Super Bowl is going to be much the same except the Eagles won’t wimp out on their opportunities. The two best QBs this year. Three-peats in pro sports now is really hard with the rules for switching teams. Much like college is becoming.
Not that hard with Taylor Swift in the luxury box. How many times do you think the camera will pan up to her jumping up and down when Kelce makes a play or KC does something good? Do you have any idea how many more people will tune in to the game just to see her? Likely 10’s of millions and more. What do you think the game of football is all about? Do you think it is about sport and competition? Not a chance. It’s all about doing what will make them the most money. That is what it is about for everyone… $65 dollar crappy seats for a BYU basketball game?
You need to take a serious chill pill. You think Kelcy and Swift aren’t really dating. You think that Reid is crooked. You think the players all know who must win and their disappointment is all fake when they lose. Or their efforts and excitement are fake when a 65 foot shot is made at the buzzer to send the game in to overtime like Arizona did against Iowa St last night.
You also seem to believe money grows on trees and that companies do not have the right to take advantage of publicity opportunities. That it’s somehow evil and fake. Or that $65 is too much to pay for a seat to offset the payout the Big 12 gives the home team and the visiting team.
I’m not saying there isn’t corruption to watch for. There are instances of people taking bribes involved with games. But with 45 players on 30 teams with all the number of coaches, trainers and employees that have to be involved with the conspiracy, and yet no one can find an email, phone call, text, conversation…And don’t give me this nonsense of big picture, subtle corruption or conspiracy either.
Now, with that said, there are cheaters. Every time we went to play at Nordoff, we had to keep a close eye on the time keepers and the score keepers. They loved to cheat. In college and the pros we have instant replay and the rules allow for the officials to check to see if they get the calls right because their judgments aren’t always accurate even when they try to be right. The games are played and reffed by imperfect human beings. Knowing this, most people can enjoy the games and hope this is the case. When something is very off, not just a little, there are even checks and balances to correct them. As with refs who are crooked, we have the FBI…So, I don’t have the answer for you. But you aren’t going to take us down in the dumpster with you on this. KC and Philadelphia are the best teams and it isn’t because of Taylor Swift
Yeah, everything that happens only applies to your personal experiences. It’s only real when it happens to you or when you think something is going on. Nordhoff was cheating… hilarious. And the FBI is such a legitimate honest department. Okay, keep your head in the sand like an ostrich. That’s fine. KC is the best team because the NFL wants it that way. Yes, it is possible that they lose an important game but if the league can help it not happen they will. Like I said, tens of millions more viewers will watch… How much money is laundered illegaly through football and professional sports? and the gambling that takes place now? You have no clue.
If that really was the case, the league would have kept Tyreek Hill in KC. You have this confirmation bias that dictates your perception of the world that just isn’t correct. You keep eluding to a fix but won’t actually commit to it happening because it’s your bias that because money is involved KC has to be in this Super Bowl for a potential three peat. Or, because Taylor Swift will be there drawing in young viewers. What you are missing is that there is no finite number to be made. Large businesses work within ranges of expectations for their cash in for their business. Had Buffalo won, they still would be in their range for dollar success. This isn’t the Professional Wrestling business where it truly is all about show and fixing bouts. Too many people involved to keep fixing Super Bowl outcomes silent. No one is buying your conspiracy.
I’m not seling it so I don’t care if anyone is buying it or not. I do know that a lot of posters here, that get what I am talking about, certainly agree with some of the things I post. You don’t but that’s nothing new. You don’t agree with much of anything anyone says.
Since when did you become the capitalist business guru?
Times have changed. Stop living in the past. Things aren’t done the way they used to be nor are they done in a genuine and honest way. If you don’t get that then you are as clueless as most of us see you are. I guess we will just have to disagree and leave it at that.
I’ve always been a capitalist once I grew out of my teenage years. Some never do. Nothing has changed. It’s been the same since 1776. People have a right to own their own property including their own businesses without mingling it with Marxism or socialism. There’s always been corruption because we live with imperfect people. But, with laws and with reasonable regulations we have the best system in the world. Brought more people out of poverty all over the world with capitalism with a social net to help the poor and the needy.
