Keba Keita, could he follow Chris Burgess?

The transfer portal story of Marcus Adams Jr. is different than others in college sports | KSL.com

ben crittle did a nice write up of Marcus Adams Jr. and why he transferred…he absolutely loved BYU but family comes 1st

Atiki ended up at new Mexico.

Robinson was accepted into the NBA tryouts. he could still come back (1%)

So, Adams hasn’t picked a school yet? If I were Young, I’d go after him and move the family up to Provo so his brother could go to school in Utah. If not this year, get him back next year. It’s less expensive to live in Provo than in LA. Good grief!

The portal decision came a month after he announced that his father, Marcus Adams Sr., had died. His father had suffered a stroke midway through this past season.

BYU basketball: Marcus Adams Jr. commits to Cal State Northridge – Deseret News

Yea the Gospel says, “Family First”, But apparently not if you are involved in BYU sports, playing for the cougars takes precedence over family according to some posters.

Not at all. Like I stated, move them to Provo. Less expensive to live and they can watch him play basketball where he wants to be. What is the condition when a person is only capable of reading half a paragraph?

Are you sure about that? I wouldn’t be surprised if it is closer than you think. It depends a bit on what part of LA you are talking about and vice versa.

I’m pretty sure. It’s gotten expensive in Provo. Nothing like where they are. I don’t know if mom owns her house but if she does, selling it and moving to the Provo area would be a positive.

“I returned home after our tournament loss, had a long talk with my mom, and we decided it was best for me to find a place at home,” Adams said. "

“I’m the man of the house now and have to play that role for my little brother,” Adams said. “I need to be as close as I can to him, so he won’t have those mental breakdowns and feel down because of the loss of my dad, because we were all very close and my dad was everything for him.”

Adams’ younger brother, Maximo Adams, is a five-star prospect for the 2026 recruiting class and is already considered one of the top recruits in the entire country.

He also mentioned Pope, sounded like pre-tourney, had discussed with him moving his family to Provo.

Wouldn’t be totally suprised to see him back in contact with the Y after his bro graduates…

Looks like a waterman type long tall slim and more of outside than inside…or at least so he played at Wasatch.
