If the season plays out with the favoured team winning the rest of the game on the schedule, the seed will hold…
Essentially that means lose both of the other games against SMC and lose both games against Gonzaga. Win the rest.
That set of results is sadly, inevitably optimistic.
Realistically, BYU will lose at least two more that it is favoured to win.
So realistically BYU will be a visiting team in its first NIT game, and if it manages to win with that set-up, it will have to win on the road every game after that.
