Mr Consistency, Mark Sears, had 6 points for Alabama after scoring what, 35 against BYU? They have a good team but that game was ridiculous.
After watching all the recent games I am convinced BYU is as good as any elite 8 team not named Houston. Better throw Duke in with Houston.
Although I totally blew the BYU Alabama prediction- except Keba and fouss combine, I was SPOT ON with Alabama against Duke. They even shot worse than I thought they would.
We just ran into a Historically hot team.
I think KY game planned it well. He played the probability game and 9 out of 10 times he would have been right. Our defense wasn’t that bad. Half of bamas 3 point makes we’re thee to six feet BEHIND the arc. Not a lot you can do about that as guarding that far out will expose you to other disadvantages.
My only complaint about BYU in that game is the second stringers sans Fouss played their worst game of the season. (Third time) Hall is not a starter a top 10 top 15 team. He’s not quick enough against top team defenders. He’d be quite good in WCC.
You might argue that Demin is not that quick either but is 6’ 9” and can still drive and superb court vision.
