Well it looks like Alabama’s three-point problem just has ended and ours just begun
Not blaming for the loss but hall Stewart Dawson bos et al have played a worse game
With Alabama lose to duck by 25 and miss about every thing outside
Ya, if we would have made more 3’s we at least could have made it a game.
Alabama broke the ncaa tournament record for 3’s by 4. They scored 75 points on three point shots. Nobody can beat that.
I don’t think BYU played that badly. They were okay, they just ran into a buzzsaw that went nuts.
Being human and being fair, unbiased and objective is a real possibility. For the most part the officials did a very good job. I wish Padilla didn’t think he has to be a focal point of the game but he likes putting himself right in the middle of everything.
Had we made 12-13 threes out of 30, we would have stayed with them. The buzz saw was also our poor 3 point shooting.
Let’s not forget mag played a bad game too

I’m with you. Hall is ok but should never be a starter on a top 20 team and definitely showed that tonight. Ky played him correctly this year.

There is a reason why NCAA tournament record is in the sentence. No one has EVER done it before. BYU didn’t play bad, Bama played insane.
Hall got benched after BYU signed Demin. Hall was the better player, with 2 years as the point but programs that sign marquee players have to use them for many reasons. Catchings would of benched another starter, as he did for 1/2 the season but his defense was atrocious. I hope he comes back after working on his foot skills and D all summer. He just needs his head to catch up with his god given skills. Bosko is said to love BYU, he could work on D as well.
Hall was never the same after the benching/injury but he did take over games at times so I am not worried about his mentality.
KY will be careful about who he brings in with the open schoolies, I thought he was a wizard on his transfer selection this past season. Keba and Mag both were game changers

Well, Duke blew out Alabama.
Duke 85-65 Alabama (Mar 29, 2025) Box Score - ESPN
Held the tide to 8-32 from 3 (25%) while Duke hit 48% of their 3s and outrebounded bama 41-30.
Just goes to show that Bama had the game of their lives vs. BYU and probably would lose 5 out of 10 games vs. BYU. Duke sure make them look normal. For those of you that have Duke to win it all, their sure pass the eye test now.
