The needle got him back on the field last week, hopefully it didn’t set him back for this week. I’m not a big fan of shooting guys up for muscles or tendon injuries, especially college kids.
And you were there to witness this? On TV I saw a lot of messaging going on which would not have been needed if he was shot up.
Well, my brother-in-law used to play for BYU back in the 80’s. Him and I were watching the Holiday Bowl when Detmer got nailed pretty hard and left the field. His comment was, “Well, there going to shoot him up, and he’ll be back in the game soon”. Sure enough, a few minutes later, he came back in the game.
Did he have a hamstring? No?
Everybody has a hamstring Scott… 
It was shoulder injury with Detmer during that game.
