Meanwhile, Craig Smith just got dumped at Utah

If you ask me, they fired the wrong guy. Utah should be firing the AD,

picked near the bottom or the bottom and so far competing near the middle with a chance at a decent conference tournament seed…what does the next guy have to do? immediately beat the best set of coaches, arguably at least, in Division 1…I feel sorry for the bball fans up there…bad decision after bad decision on their coaching this century…proud tradition being trashed.

Well, I’m not feeling sorry for them.

I feel bad for Craig Smith, he is not only a good coach, but a good person.

When he took over, half to two thirds of the players bailed.

what does Harlin expect from Smith 4 years?

It’s generally not good to dump a coach before the end of a season. Pretty classless if you ask me. The U hasn’t been that bad. Have probably exceeded expectations to some degree.

You previously asked, “Why isn’t the board more active?” Perhaps it’s due to responses like this one. People might be discouraged from posting because they grow weary of your constant attempts to provoke debate.

That’s your spin on it. It’s a kin to TDS. It’s HDS. You simply don’t see yourself as attempting to cause a problem because I have a different viewpoint or opinion on a topic of discussion.

I hold different opinions from Fish, Jim, Aro, and THawk and others, yet I don’t feel like they are trying to provoke debates when they respond to me. Perhaps the issue lies not in having a different opinion but in how you express it to others.

That’s called confirmation bias. Take a step back and realize you have been in aggressive discussions too. Nothing wrong with it. Why does everyone have to agree with each other?

Mostly agree…so sad…

Mostly? What is it that you don’t agree with?

Do you know what Confirmation Bias really means?
Definition:
Confirmation bias is a cognitive phenomenon where people tend to favor, seek out, and remember information that confirms their preexisting beliefs or hypotheses. This means they are more likely to interpret, focus on, and give more weight to evidence that supports what they already think, while disregarding or undervaluing information that contradicts their views.

If you had read my post earlier, you would have notice that I said **when others disagree or have a different opinion from me, I do not feel they are provoking debates or arguing. **
Based on the definition I posted, how what I posted “Confirmation Bias”? It is not!

If you say so
