The match is almost ready to start and they just played the Star Spangled Banner. Less than half the audience had their hands over their hearts. I did not see anyone rendering the proper salute. For those of you who don’t know, if your are a war veteran you don’t have to be in uniform to salute. I was quite disappointed at the lack of respect for the flag and the anthem. There were a couple from BYU who just stood there with their hands to their sides. About half of the UCI team had their hands to their sides.
