Everyone has a story. Retziaff has a great story. He has a great pedigree.

We’ve all relived the “Pic 6” vs. Oklahoma. But does anyone remember the next possession?
Also a first, Retziaff is Jewish

Jake is the 1st Jew to start at QB in Provo. If this does not make you a fan…can’t help you
Go BYJew

Had I gone out for QB in 1977, I would have been the first Jew to be QB at BYU…
I met other Jewish converts when I was there as well. When I had my Patriarchal Blessing, I was given the line of the tribe of Joseph through Ephraim. Other Jews I met were mostly of the tribe of Judah or Benjamin.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say you didn’t play QB on your intramural team if you played intramural football. Too funny.

Actually, I did play QB on BYU 1st Ward’s intramural football team. I was 30 pounds less than I am now and a lot less strong back then. However, I could throw it 50 yards back then. I also played WR as I could make the moves to get open and had great hands.

Very funny… just telling you the truth. I played QB in intramural games. Strong arm. And yes, 50 yards.
