Because they postponed the Fall track and field championships to spring and only 2 days apart from the Cross Country championships, BYU had to choose which athletes compete in either or both…case in point…BYU will not be fielding its best 3 (best in the world) distance runners (as will N Arizona and Stanford) The best 3 will only compete in the Cross Country Championships.
