NFL Cuts for this year

There are a few surprises, like Dax Miline being released by Washington, and now the Raiders,
Samson Nucua was within a couple of yards of doing a TD after Field Goal attempt, but he got cut as well.

Hope they all can find homes somehwere in the NFL this season.

I think Milme, Nacua and Slovis will find something somewhere.

There was an article comparing BYU and Utah players making active 53 man rosters in the NFL to start the season. Utah has a couple more than BYU, but when I looked at the names of those players it was clear that BYU had more impact and quality players than Utah did. So what is the point of the list, other than to stir up controversy? Even Utah State ha3 impact players out of 4 which is about what Utah has.

One player I didn’t see from BYU was Sione Taki Taki, who was very good in college and was playing quite a bit for the Browns last season and apparently on the Patriots currently.

He’s on the PUP list.

Thanks for sharing, Floyd.

Covey should have played for BYU. Big miss because he was 100% BYU.

Dallin Holker should not count for BYU, He was not played, thanks AROD. Everyone knew he was NFL material except our coaches.

It is a big surprise that BYU is even close to Utah in NFL placement considering Utah’s lofty P12 championships and BYU’s indy. Shows that BYU has been very good at getting talent with track record. It has all to do with BYU’s ESPN ties. Now with Big12 $$, hopefully BYU can rise with the Big 12 tide.
