This article makes it sound like Niumatalolo is looking like a strong candidate for the head coaching job at BYU. What do the rest of you think?
Yes, he is a strong candidate for the BYU job, but his heart is at the Naval Academy. Kalani Sitake is still the best option.
I have often wondered, in the last week, why he was “chosen” to be one of the six featured in the “Meet the Mormons” film and now this coaching position opens up. Before the movie I knew very little about him. Since the movie I have been following him and I am impressed. I have no idea what the outcome will be for him or the other candidates. I can say, through personal experience, the Lord knows each of us, knows our needs, and guides us when we allow Him. Who knows what Coach Niumatalolo, or any of the other coaches, need in their personal lives at this time, but the Lord does. It will be interesting to observe the process.
There will be some on this board who will belittle my response to your post. Some who don’t understand. And there are some who do. I think you know what I am saying.
100% I know exactly what you are saying. It has taken me awhile to see this in my own life and know that it is true.
It is a long process for most of us. Anyone who belittles what you are saying is shallow and not willing to reflect on their own life.
My personal situation isn’t real great at the moment but it has opened my eyes to these truths more than ever.
