On the recruiting side of things, Byu lands a big-time running back

Analogy for what? Being a school teacher? We all know numbers can be manipulated. That’s all your buddies here are doing to figure a way to fire ARod because they like that sort of stuff. Same with Sataki.

I can’t speak for others, but the numbers I provided for SOS are based on actual, factual data from the NCAA report. I simply reported the SOS for the years 2020-2024 without any manipulation. It’s usually you who twists information to fit your beliefs, not us.

Well, what about all the other schools that refused to play? What were their numbers like? All I know is we win the games we played. This year, Boise won their games from the weakest possible opponents. Worse or as worse as the ones we played. And they are #3 in the championship tournament. So, by the numbers, we were as good back then as Boise is now. Like you said, the numbers don’t lie.

What does that have to do with BYU SOS?
SOS is based on “Who” BYU played, not who should have played them!

During the 2020 and 2021 was the pandemic, and many schools were ordered to shut down the program (like what most liberal states did like California).

They are ranked number 3 based on their on-field performance, with an average margin of win is 39 to 21.

By the way, the BCS/Bowl Series/CFP has always been corrupt, and it seems nothing will change that.

The main issue at that time was the absence of BCS playoffs, as they were canceled due to the pandemic.

What do mean? The strength of Schedule Boise played is worse than what BYU played during Covid. Your attempt therefore falls on its face.

Is this one of the numbers twisting that you are doing here?

BSU schedule was what is it is, the fact remains that they won all but one game (Oregon loss by 3). Logicial people understands that, two bad you are not logical.

Doesn’t matter, because there was BCS bowl during the covid years… Stop comparing apples to grapefruits.

BYU’s schedule is what it is too. If you can’t grasp the similarities then I don’t know what else to say. It makes guys like you from slamming the 10+ wins in the early 20’s. Pure and simple.
By the way, on BYUSN, there was no mention of Jon Nelson in the portal.

these numbers only work for average fans. Super smart fans have their own set of numbers.

Sitake

Let’s not start with misprints or spelling. You always have a bunch of mess ups and I don’t point them out. That’s because I’m a super smart fan that can actually use the numbers correctly. Numbers have to be interpreted correctly. And, Floyd messed up and apparently you too? You can’t trash BYU’s schedule in 2020 or 2021 and then pat Boise on the back and let them into the 12 team playoffs. Illogical.

how did I mess up? please sight the source of my mistake?

YES, we can because there are two SEPERATE AND DIFFERENT playoff systems between BYU 2020-21 years and Today playoffs… The Criteria changed.

BTW, The SOS is based on the NCAA information:
NCAA College Football Strength of Schedule Rankings & Ratings

We aren’t talking about the systems. We are talking about whether to say Sitaki/Arod did a great job in the past 5 years. I’m just saying that if Boise is great this year with a bad SOS then BYU is great in 2020 and 2021 with a bad SOS. How do you differentiate them? You don’t. Who cares about the system for national championship.
