We already know the first three games, and TCU accidentally released its schedule for a few minutes before taking it down this evening (BYU plays at TCU Oct. 14).

I heard we would have a couple of byes. How would that work out?

I believe the schedule requires nine scheduled conference games, so I don’t see how BYU could have more than one bye and still finish the season as it traditionally does on Thanksgiving weekend. I chose September 30th for the bye since that is General Conference weekend.

Of course, I didn’t schedule any Thursday games. I suppose we could have a game on September 28th or 29th and a bye in October or Novemeber.

Two best records will determine who is in the championship game. Big 12 now has tangibility. Recruits should love a schedule like this.

7-5 or 8-4 would get us a good bowl game
