I think the biggest problem with Retzlaff is that he struggles to put touch on his throws or to know what kind of throw to make in a specific situation. He throws too hard sometimes, too low or too high other times. He can’t control his adrenalin

Been thinking about Retzaiff and why he looks soo good at times and just wigs out other times. My take, he has some A D D going on, when he lets his game flow, he’s deadly. If he thinks about TOs or interceptions, he throws far from targets and far from potential interceptions.

15-20 for the KSU game, 149 yds and 2 TDs looks bad on paper but 2 TDs, no interceptions and 71% on a top 10 defense is WOW!

I still have not been convinced our offense can sustain drives against a real team. We have only played one real team this year and it was a complete shizzshow on offense.

Using two small but very fast backs I’d like to see BYU use those backs more in the passing game instead of stupid runs for no gain on first down.

The Defense made this game into a blowout.

Moa was unstoppable in the 2nd. He can’t be stopped on the 1st hit…or the 2nd hit. True Freshman. (But his brother would stop you, what a truck!)

Two more things on the game

1 on Retzaiff’s two sacks…He ate it, took the sack. In past games, Retzaiff would try to make something out of a lost cause and get intercepted.

2 BYU’s Defense has had 2 TDs in four games (vs. Wy) and if they really cared, those 2 TDs would not of happened, both were QB sneaks in a blowout game. THink about it. SMU just hung 66 pts on TCU and we shut them out at their house…KSU, big time rushing machine gets blanked in LES. While our Offense is struggling to score, BYU’s Dfense is a Juggerknot.
