Is it possible Aaron that you have different privileges than the basic users that most of us are? The pencil box is only next to the email address and avatar. The Username CANNOT be edited for the basic user.
Just looked at the levels. Basic Users cannot edit their Username. Trust level has to be increased before the Username can be editied.
I donāt have that option on my username.
Strange. I created a new basic account and I had access to change everything.
Iāve asked the smart folks on our team to look in to this.
I have to agree that the new format stinks. I also liked that people used what seemed to be their real names.
The pencil is next to my email address for the account. There is nothing next to my user name. It sounds like it is the same for others.
This is a minor issue, but I never had a problem using my real name and I canāt even seem to do that right now.
The format is difficult and confusing but I am willing to try it for awhile because I am hoping that others will migrate over and try it too.
I am admittedly a dinosaur as regards technology. I am trying to transition from the old board. Sure hope some more come on over. I especially hope to hear from Jim H. and Neil C.

Please put some type of control on the main menu to allow people to go back to the home website.
This way if they want to read any linksā¦ they can do that AFTER they look at the discussion board.

It would be more user friendly if you could actually see that easier and it would make it more like the previous board format.
Nate, after going to other sites and deciding that cougar boards users are just too much to handle as they are complete lunatics sometimes lolā¦ Iāve decided to try and make this work. Also, I can see you are making changes. Can you make it so that the replies read inline? I see that I can click reply and read replies, but if I want to like the post I then have to go find it to like it. OR I have to run into it again later which is kind of awkward. Any chance this could happen?
We are digging into it. This forum service is a 3rd party service that we did not build so it does require some learning. Thanks for your suggestions and patience.

Ok, I just noticed that if you click on the CougarFan icon at the top of the page, it puts you right back to the main board. I think this is really what we want.
A link back to the main CougarFan homepage, that would be great too.
We will add a link back to the cougarfan.com homepage as well.
If you move to cougarboard please note that you will have to be extra careful of your post as the littlest thing will get flagged as a troll and you will get banned.
