OK, I am shocked that the heavy weights in the Big 12 are struggling.
Houston with 3 losses???
Kansas, lost 2 games in a row???
Arizona sitting at 4-5, at the bottom of the Big 12 as we speak
KSU, 6-3, losing to Liberty???
Baylor, 6-3,
Kansas, Houston and Arizona were all top 10 before the season.
BYU loses to a Sr. laden Ol Miss team (not a surprise) and a road game in Providence…typical of a early season team starting 3 new guys. I see BYU losing more games in the Big 12 expecially road game.
Here is how fickle things are…BYU loses to Providence, we drop 10 spots from #28 to #38, we beat Wy pretty badly and jump 6 spots to #32. Not too worried about the season because our Fr. will grow and be ready for the late season battles.
BYU can beat anybody in the Marriot because of our outside shooting but Big 12 defense will be an eye opener for the youngsters. Gonna take a minute but 100% excited for the season and all the new eyeballs on BYU basketball now that we signed the #1 player in all the land!
Circle 1-18-2025 and the road game to Utah as a season indicator of just how good BYU is.
Right now Lunardi has BYU as a 12 seed, down from #9 seed 10 days ago. I’m banking on BYU climbing the ladder throughout the season to a #6 seed or better.
