But I was just looking at some stats.

As of this year. BYU has more NCAA tournament appearances than Utah…
Can’t see Smith and Utah passing Pope and BYU…so may be a long term situation.

NIT bids are a tie…hopefully the boys on the hill will have a few more in the next while.

Smith is a great coach and with the power of the P12, he can pass BYU in a NY minute. I see many battles between Smith and Pope in the future.
