This is the perfect example of offensive discipline

Byu has played a really good game. there is five minutes remaining and they are 20 points ahead. They should be seriously taking the air out of the ball and they are still using the 10 second shot clock. I just don’t get it. Leadership is seriously missing on this team. KC should be really taking control and slowing it down to run the clock.

The Cougs looked great tonight against USF. Too bad they are not more conistent.

Ummm…No… Keep going until the other team says uncle. The tournament is coming up and taking them down and out will get them thinking if we play them. Love it!

What happens, if someone who is very key to the team, gets hurt in the last two minutes of a game, which was over long ago, and there should have been nothing but subs playing? What would you have said then? Go back a little in history and count the number of times someone has gotten hurt in a game just like this one. It was over. In a way, I understand what you are saying. SFU just plain would not say uncle. I am just glad no one got seriouly hurt in this meaningless 10 second shot clock playing time. You know I am right, because it has happened fairly recently, hasn’t it.
Jeff

It seems like it was the last play of the game in football and the player should not have been in the game.
Jeff

Can’t play the game worrying about injuries. Did you watch the girls play? Down by 14 and climbed back into the game and caught them in the end? Great ending! But, the moral of the story, beat a team into submission if possible or they may come back and beat you.

Yes, I did watch the game and they played lousy for most of it. The game got close down to the end and BYU got lucky and pulled it out. In the mens game it was not close, there was not a come back. If you have played or coached at all, you know what should have happened. And yes the blasted coach of SFU should have capitulated at the five minute mark.
Jeff

If being a coach is the criteria for what should have happened then you are wrong since “Coach” Rose kept the starters in until the 2:30 mark. Thank you for vindicating me :sunglasses:

I understand but I am frustrated a little by this because the SF coach would not capitulate.
Jeff

No worries. I thought he was a jerk. He kept badgering the referees and should have gotten a technical.
