The last two times down the court Lexi Rydalch has been literally knocked to the court and the ref is literally within 10 feet and watching and there has been no call by these lousy rec league refs. I have never seen it this bad. I have watched her go down the court with the ball about ten times now and every time she has been fouled, most of the times really hard, and no call. You have to see this.

It wouldn’t matter that much because she is bricking her free throws anyway. Pulsipher has been the difference at the end here and that Purcell chick is having a pretty good game too. BYU got kind of complacent and Pepperdine took advantage. I haven’t noticed the officiating being that bad. One important thing to remember is that in our society today we tend to want to equalize everyone and make sure nobody is excelling too much or more than another person. That is why the star players sometimes have to work harder to get calls, like KC against Portland perhaps.
It looks like Rydalch free throws put the game away so it doesn’t really matter.
Pulsiver was knocked down at least six times during this Pepperdine. Rydalch was knocked down so hard that she wasn’t herself for most of the second half until she finally hit a shot after at least five misses from the floor and missing at least two free throws during the late third and most of the fourth quarter. The WCC refs seem to be their old selves as they let Pepperdine push, pull, grab and hold the BYU players the whole game long. BYU is lucky that no one got really hurt in this game. Jim H better be watching the whole game before he talks about Lexi bricking shots. Of course the way the game was covered by Spencer Linton and his color analyst Ms.Koslowski and the lousy camera work, it is sure that neither Jim H. nor most people not in the arena could see little of importance. Spencer and Koz spent most of the time talking about the WCC and other games and past situations to the tune that they were mostly one play behind the action. Perpetrators of many fouls that were called were not mentioned by our telecast team.Too much small talk and “analysis” and too little coverage of what was actually developing on the playing floor. They seem to get worse as the season moves along. Spencer and Koz, please call “The” Game on the court and the action as it happens. We don’t need a dialogue like a sports talk show. To boot this was the worst coverage of a game I have seen this year… The camera work was pathetic. When players are being knocked all over the floor the cameras showed coaches on the bench and failed to show much of the action on the court it was frustrating to viewers.
I didn’t watch the game for the most part so I was giving a SG analysis and basically saying the refs had no blame in any of it.
Oh my goodness, there is another fan out there who pays attention to the flow of the game. I think I am going to go find my defib.
