This week's predictions. the game. the coach and more

First things first. Sataki will be the next head coach. I am ecstatic, for BYU to be viable and a P5 candidate, we have to keep recruiting as our highest priority and there is nobody out there with better poly ties. I am confident he will get a top rate OC to keep our QB central going.

They will make the announcement after the bowl game. After BYU intercepts Utah and wins the turnover battle. Wilson has killed BYU in the past but he really is a average QB and BYU will make him pay this last time. I hear Covey will return but that does not matter as we will keep a short leash on him and make Wilson try to beat us with his legs.

IF BYU can hold their own on the Oline, this game will not even be close but hey everyone is motivated so I see this game as a close one. If BYU can break 30 points, it is a guaranteed win.

BYU 24-21.

BYU wins.
Whittingham coach.

BYU 56 - 10.

Big BYU fan here, and I hate to say this but Utah wins by 1 to 2 touchdowns. Whit just cares so much more than Bronco does and it translates into how his players play.

Utah 27-14

I have always wanted Sitake and I think he will get the job.

Ok let’s get real here. Take off the blue shades And analyze the game. In order for BYU to win the game-they have to stop the run. They also have to pressure Wilson and level him so he doesn’t want to run and makes bad decisions throwing the ball. Utah is better than Missouri and as good as Michigan so that doesn’t bode well for BYU. BYU has to be able to run on Utah so the OL better come to play or it won’t be close. Utah by 17

One last thing-I can’t figure the coaching thing out. Why wait if Sitaki is your guy. Doesn’t make sense-you have players thinking twice about playing at BYU-no advantages in delaying if u already have your coach picked out unless your coach is Whit and I can’t see that one happening. All very confusing to me and doesn’t give me that warm fuzzy feeling inside.

Utah was hardly that good. If Bronco would have not been pass happy to start, BYU would have won easy.

I think RA is the OC, not sad he is going with Bronco. I was hoping one of the fans was going to ask RA if he could suit up and run a play… I mean why was he using two guys who haven’t run the ball all season long at the start of the game? Tre Dye and Squally Canada running the ball while Bernard and Brown wait? for what?

I mean what was the actual game plan?

Frustrating to watch… and BYU was the better team overall but lost the game. Why couldn’t they have waited till after the game to make the coaching change?

You know Utah totally dominated the first quarter-and the Utah fans are saying “we lost our intensity”. It’s just a matter of perspective. Credit the players and the coaches for not giving up and giving themselves a chance in an almost hopeless scenerio. Mendenhall is a good defensive coach and we will see how things pan out at Virginia

If that is what they were saying then they are as clueless as we’ve always thought and in total denial about their team. The Utes are a team that rose to #3 in the nation yet would probably struggle to beat any of those teams they beat early on to get themselves to that ranking. Let’s be honest, their offense was absolutely putrid and their defense gave up 28 points.

Yeh I’m sure you are right. Losing their all American rb made everyone else more vulnerable and I’m sure they wouldn’t have won some of those games-but hey fans are fans and my cousin is a Ute season ticket holder so I know the process, besides formerly working for U of UCRC. Merry Christmas JH

Merry Christmas to you as well. Hope it is wonderful!
