We all know that conservatives DO NOT say who they will vote for, not on Facebook or any SMedia platform. The reason, we have been shamed by the media for many years. so we just vote. That is how every single poll flubbed the Clinton-Trump election. the Biden-Trump and today, the Harris vs. Trump.

I hope you are right about this. The midterms were supposed to be a red wave and were not. The thing that worries me is the unending efforts to register illegal aliens to vote.
I know Trump leads now in all the swing states but by razor thin margins. Some kind of October surprise could shake things up. The judge in Trumpâs election interference trial ordered the unsealing of redacted court records on Friday. Maybe there was nothing new in them because I havenât seen any stories yet with any bombshells. The Trump lawyers were trying to get the judge to
delay the unsealing of the records until after the election but she refused. The Trump lawyers argued that unsealing the records would
amount to election interference and the judge said not unsealing the records would be withholding info the public had a right to know since the election was near so she said she had to do it to avoid influencing an election by withholding relevant info from the public.
Of course four years ago the New York Post story about Hunterâs laptop was buried by Twitter and Facebook and all other social media because of the lie that it was Russian misinformation and now we know it wasnât.
I remember in 2000 that Dan Rather put out a last minute story about a Bush DWI conviction from years prior that nearly swung the 2000 election to Al Gore.
Then you remember the endless recounts in Florida that got an 8000 vote Bush lead down to just above 500. They did a machine recount and nothing changed so they decided a hand recount was necessary. They were switching votes from Bush to Gore in the Democrat counties due to the hanging chads where vote counters were interpreting a voters intentions rather just not counting the vote when some idiot was incapable of punching his ballot. The SCOTUS finally stopped the recounts or they would have kept on counting until Gore won. The Democrats tried to steal that election but later on a number of newspapers did their own recounts and all of them had Bush winning and the MSN was silent about it. You had to get that info from conservative media sources like Rush Limbaugh.
Once the narrative that Gore won Florida was quashed they just started crying about the electoral college which is part of the constitution and has done what it was intend to do every time a candidate has won the popular vote but lost in the electoral college. It guarantees that heavily populated areas wonât exercise tyranny over the rural areas. The cries got louder when Hillary Clinton lost. The electoral college saved us from an environmentalist extremist who was dumber than George W. Bush who was constantly maligned for his verbal gaffes. It saved us a 2nd time from a Saul Alinski Marxist (Clinton) who was as bad as Harris. Harris is just as bad as Hillary and not nearly as smart.
Long rant through recent past history. The Democrats will do anything to win ie: dead men voting, illegals voting, finding mysterious missing boxes of ballots at the last minute to swing close house and senates races and of course those missing ballots always contain a large pct of Democrat votes, just enough to win (remember Al Franken in Minnesota). Politics is the religion of the left and they are zealous in their pursuit to spread the faith that has no god except the state.

The Federal Election law says you can only remove voters (Citizen/Non Citizen) from the register, 90 days before the election. Both states removed voters shorter than the 90 days.
This law was passed under Trump and in an attempt to not sway the results by having voters removed to close to an election and make sure someone did not lose the right to vote by a mistake.
That is what the DOJ is suing both states over, the real issue, at least in Virginia, is that there is a state law that removes people from the lists for various reasons, but allows them time to get corrected before the election, as a fail safe, the also allow the voter to a ballot at the booth.
Not a lawyer, but if a state law removes voters for legit reason which prevents them from voting in state election, how does that affect the federal elections?
The judge has to decide, which law takes precedence.
I do not like the DOJ for a lot of reasons, but even on Fox News they are saying the DOJ is following the law. Being a bit of a stickler, but within their rights.

The federal law which is known as National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA).
Section 8(c)(2) of the NVRA, also known as the Quiet Period Provision, requires states to complete systematic programs aimed at removing the names of ineligible voters from voter registration lists no later than 90 days before federal elections. The Quiet Period Provision applies to certain systematic programs carried out by states that are aimed at striking names from voter registration lists based on a perceived failure to meet initial eligibility requirements â including citizenship â at the time of registration.
As you can clearly see in the wording of this federal law, it clearly says all the voter cleanup needed to done before the 90 days before an election.
So again, the DOJ may being picky, but they are correct in following the NVRA law.

I wonât say the last election was stolen because there wasnât enough evidence to prove it, but I believe it may have been and that is what worries me a little. Even if it was Trump made a bad political move to not just to walk away at a certain point and get ready to win in 2024. If he had I donât think this would be a close election, but that is not Trump.

Federal elections can indeed supersede state election laws when it comes to voter registration. The National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA), also known as the âmotor voter law,â sets forth certain voter registration requirements with respect to elections for federal office.
One of those stipulation is that states must complete the clearing of the voterâs registration issues 90 day prior to an election.

Just because the Governor said it was used during the 90-day requirement does not mean that it was. He provided no proof other governor actually did it during the 90 days.

in 2020, absent Covid, a number of states ignored (to say the least) existing state laws/constitutions to change existing voting process to highly favor the democrats, including and especially the Presidential vote. They saw an opening and blasted it open. If that is cheating (and I wonât disagree with you that it isnât) then you get the result we got. Notions of massive voter BALLOT frauds were not consequential and never proven. Guliani and that hack women lawyer were embarrassments and the effect of their grandstanding and proffering false claims still has a lingering, negative impact on Republican efforts to win the current election.
