Dicey stuff. Will Trump get the message out that unfair tariffs have been killing the USA for decades or will the Dems and legacy media muddy up the message and get voters to believe Trump is bringing on the biggest recession in years?
Most people are not entrepreneurs like Trump is. He’s working for those who give jobs to the employee mindset. The market is knee jerk reaction and the left scream media is attempting to make things worse than they are. The Dems want a world market so America can’t be the world super power. They want a new world order as do the Bush Republicans want.
Tariffs were, and apparently are becoming again, among the most political of topics in American history. They can be done right, and they can be done wrong, and American history has examples of both. I think I would be happier if Vance or DeSantis were introducing the tarrifs because they would be less likely to kick off the TDS…and for that matter less likely to be so bombastic…but tariffs are good for economic development and for good international relationships if done well…hope Trump and his servants do well.
