This just in. Zak Hill, after being hired at ALA-Gilbert to be Detmer’s offensive coordinator, has been hired by the Seattle Seahawks to be their quarterbacks coach.
It was good while it lasted . . .
I would hope all of us on this board don’t care who BYU signs, as long as they are the best players. It goes unsaid they have to at least mostly follow the HC and pass their classes, but bottom line is get kids who win, and I truly couldn’t care less what they look like or where they are from.

I’m finally getting to this thread. Ty Detmer is an asset to any organization. When BYU hired him, I said, “You think he can recruit QBs to BYU? He’ll bring his Heisman trophy, plop it down on the kitchen table, and say follow me to BYU and I just may get you one of these.” Since they THREW HIM UNDER THE BUS, how many high school QBs has ARod signed who have played a single down at BYU? I think it is legitimately zero in 7 years.
That stuff in Gilbert about the goons is wild. So disappointing. I’m only 57 but feel like an old man screaming at the clouds about how teenagers are being raised in the digital age.
