Sometime 20 years ago, my son and I were at Utah football facility for the State youth weightlifting competition and Kyle Whittingham approached me asking me about my Guide dog tor about five minutes and then I asked how come he chose Utah over BYU and sometime couple minutes later, he disappeared without saying anything which was weird

Ummm…MONEY! We knew this back then. The difference wasn’t even close in which we were going to pay him versus Utah.

I don’t know if you will even read this. I don’t agree with you all the time but our interactions have been positive and I think that holds true with most of the regular posters here I hope you will stick around. It is good to hear your opinion on things. I rarely argue with hopper because it is pointless. I agree with him on most things but I don’t like the way he insults people. He will probably tell me off for saying this but I am not going to get drawn into an argument with him. He needs to quit insulting people.

Hopper says the same things as everyone else on here (a good thing) but then adds an extra “Personal Insult”, the name calling. It’s beneath everyone, there is no place for it but…
I now consider it a compliment when the insult comes from Hopper.

When Whittingham ridiculously and ignorantly accused Robinson of intentionally injuring Kuithe, I lost ANY remaining shred of respect I ever had for the guy. What a total jerk. This loss serves him right.

Whitt said that? Wowza…My take and I have said it before. IF Utah was undefeated and playing for the same prize as BYU, I can understand the AD or at least sympathize. Utah has mailed in 4 losses to sub teams and now all of the sudden, they care??? All Utah was gunning for was to ruin BYU’s season.

Utah cam into the Big 12 as the golden child, the heir apparent. Their AD, Harlan said, "I used to be excited about the Big 12, now I am embarrassed (ad lib). Soooooooo, Harlan, take your attitude back to the P2, they can have you and your entitlement.
Whitt seems to have said all the right things and he did hug it out with Sitake after the game despite what was reported. but to accuse Robinson of intentionally injuring Kuithe…LOW!

What words condemn me? When you use cliches, make sure it’s in context. The other thing you over state is I always personally attack. I only do so when I’m first attacked. I don’t do a lot with Jim because I know him and enjoy his humor. One thing I don’t do is attempt to silence dissent opinions. Thawk does and occasionally Floyd. Floyd is attempting that now. But, you don’t get it. Anyways, I enjoy your posts because they are well thought out and detailed. Doesn’t mean I always agree.

Let’s hope Floyd comes back. I like fish posts because they are informed and he loves BYU so he adds the passion (albeit sometimes a bit over the top) that makes it better. He also takes a jab well and isn’t afraid to speak his mind even if it’s negative to BYU. Floyd needs to be here, we all like his perspective and I respect it.
