I agree with this and I also agree with Floyd. Here’s the thing though, it’s a different world we live in than it was 25 or 50 years ago. The NBA is more of a business and entertainment industry than it is actual basketball. Yes, they are playing the game but that is it. Everything else revolves around money and greed and business. Society has lost its’ collective minds and there is no turning back. It’s just another sign that we are moving ever closer to the second coming.
Conspiracy - a secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or harmful.
If you don’t think ANY of what is going on in our society and culture regarding industries that are making billions of dollars rises to that level of definition, then you are either not paying attention or have no idea what it really means. In fact it may not, simply because the plans aren’t even secret at this time in history. They are out in the open. Are they illegal? By standards or integrity, morality and honesty I would say yes, absolutely. By definition of actual laws? Who knows? We have attorneys that will argue anything for money. We have “businessmen” who will do anything for money. To coin an oft heard phrase that many of us are familiar with, you can buy anything in this world with money.
You tell me.
Did you read “Who” is saying the NCAA downfall is greed?
People with a lot of money. they are not jealous, they are stating facts.
My view is simple, do you ever waste your money buying defective merchandise?
Then why would you spend hard earned money on a team intentionally tanking the season?
They had an entertaining team of young guys, but to blow it up on a future gamble?
no thanks.
I have some friends who really like it, because it is closer to real basketball.
One thing about Clark, she is not conceited like a lot of the men.
she always praises the Lord for her accomplishments.
Lots of speculation with no proof. Just because billions are spent doesn’t mean every single company or entity is crooked. Are there any? Of course. But suggesting all businesses are is not accurate. Just because a game doesn’t go your way isn’t a good reason to condemn the entirety of all of college sports.
Ya but she’s a girl! Girls can’t play sports. They should be taking home economics classes and be groomed for the kitchen! At least the democrat party and transgender clans believe so. Leave all the sports to men including those dressed up as women.
Best off season quote by far. We have the same coaches that let Dallon Holker transfer because they did not get him the ball. I don’t believe hype the DNews feeds us. BYU is what it is…
1 Completely hobbled by very strict honor code
2 Blinded by Sitake’s loyalty to certain coaches, who would be sent packing at any other school that depends on Boosters for their $$. Tuiaki and ARod will never win championships, they don’t have creativity or the guts to call plays that change games. BYU is in the big 12 now, not the Wac or MWC, where teams are filled with some great talent but filled with average players.
On D, I have great faith in Hill as a coach but won’t hold my breath until I see an edge rush that gets sacs.
On O, BYU will only win games if we have good QB play and a decent Oline. You already know how I feel about the coaching.
.
I happen to be more positive with the young players around the country that actually appreciate our honor code. I’d much rather have players like that than thugs who beat and rape women.
The coaches now will make a huge difference. I’m looking at a possible 10-2 record.
So Floyd, when exactly did the three best players get traded. Because they haven’t been close to making post season play for several weeks? Maybe even longer. When exactly were they traded. If it was in the last few weeks would be a good time to rebuild. They weren’t headed to the playoffs. Therefore, good move Danny Ainge.
You really do not understand the NBA, do you?
The only time any NBA team can trade is within the trading deadline.
The last trade period was in February where they traded Simone Fontecchio to the Detroit Pistons and then Kelly Olynyk and second-year player Ochai Agbaji to the Toronto Raptors.
At the time, the Jazz were between #8-10 in the West. which if they continued would have made their pick the #14, they would have to give up that first-round pick because it was unprotected (anything below the 10th pick, would go to Oklahoma).
They were already out of it. Good trade. In the long run the Jazz may see an NBA champion. I’ll go with Danny Ainge’s knowledge and expertise. Also, you really don’t know how to start a post on Cougarfan, do you?
Already out of it? Are you serious? Between December and February, the Jazz bounced from between 6th and 10th, never below that. If they continued it was almost a certainty they would be in the playoffs.
So, I think you are just arguing again for the sake of argument.
Yes, that is a Hopper trademark. He likes to make comments on topics that he thinks he is informed on when in actuality he doesn’t have information to back up his comments. If you know this going in it isn’t that big of a deal. Just take whatever is posted as uninformed opinion.
I always back up my opinions with facts because they aren’t conspiracies like you do
